What data we collect and why

Contact and booking data (name, email, phone, dates, guest count, message) submitted through the website form, used only to reply to contact and booking requests. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps / contract performance, and the explicit consent given on the form itself.

Anonymous visit metrics (page visited, referrer), collected without cookies and without any persistent personal identifier, used only to understand which pages are most visited. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Cookies: this site uses only cookies essential to its operation. Should a non-essential analytics tool ever be enabled, it will only start after you accept the site’s cookie notice — you can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s browsing data in your browser.

Retention period

Booking and contact request data is kept for 365 days after the request, after which it is automatically deleted by a periodic purge process. Confirmed booking data may be kept for a longer period where required by law (namely accounting and tax obligations).

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at reservas@almirante24.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) — www.cnpd.pt.
